Great emphasis on building an interactive relationship between the teachers and the students

Taking advantage of the class sizes which are kept small, you will cultivate the ability to have an advanced understanding and the ability to explain the global religions through the class style that is not a one-sided presentation of knowledge by the teacher, but rather a style that enforces lively exchange of questions and answers and discussions.

Attentive and detailed research coaching through the Academic Advisor System

Based on the course enrollment and research plan proposal that the student turns in, an academic advisor is chosen from the research coach (full-time teacher). The chosen advisor will coach his/her student consistently until graduation, starting with advice on which courses to apply for, all the way up until the planning stages of the master’s thesis and its completion.

The installation of a long-term student enrollment system

Since the university is accepting people who work full-time, it has established a long-term student enrollment system. This allows those who work or have other obligations, and cannot graduate in two years—which is the standard duration of study—to set the length of the course of study to three years. In order to apply this system, students need to make a three-year course plan with the advice from a teacher, and come up with a schedule for classes and the master’s thesis. The master’s thesis needs to be turned in on the third year.
